Custom ribbon mic
A classic dynamic microphone, used in many situations, still one of my favorites when recording an amp.
Ribbon mics are soft, fragile microphones. They take the sound in a similar way our human ears do, so usually it's pleasant to hear. This one has a lundahl transformer inside.

A classic tube microphone, used in many studios for acoustic and electric guitars, fits really well in the mix, and ha s a really pleasant cleanliness.
A tube microphone, used mostly on female vocals, still on guitars it matches often!
About me
I'm a french musician and sound guy, I played in many bands, from rock, to blues, giving a shot to pop music and french songs.
I started with real amps (and i continue to use them if it fits the project I'm in), but quickly the Kemper has been a great tool, and I like the idea to share my profiles.
